What is Roundify's model?

We are exploring pathways to becoming certified as a B Corporation. B Corporations are a new kind of business that balance purpose and profit.

For Brands

Do you have any website integrations?

Roundify can be integrated into Shopify stores with our embedded widgets. We aim to provide integrations for other types of websites in the future.

How much does it cost?

There is a flat monthly fee of $10. There are no hidden charges or fees.

Is it possible to get a free trial?

Yes. The free trial period is three months and you can cancel at any time. We do not ask you to provide credit card details either.

How does it work for businesses?

Unlike ’round up for charity’ initiatives, Roundify instead asks retailers to make the donation out of their own pocket. How? By rounding transactions down and then donating the variation to a charity of the customer’s choice.

In terms of choosing how much to round transactions down to, think about the average basket sizes of transactions in your business. If they are typically under $50, you may decide that rounding down to the nearest dollar is best. Our embedded widget can be easily configured to set donation levels suited to your business.

Can we choose a minimum checkout basket size?

Yes. For example, a small store may decide that it only wants to implement Roundify on transactions that are over $30.

How many charity options should we give customers?

We recommend a choice of two or three, but you may choose more or decide to only have one.

Can we implement Roundify for part of a year?

Yes. Implementing Roundify could be for as little as a couple of weeks per year – for example, in the lead up to the end of year holiday season.

Can we implement Roundify in our physical store?

Roundify is best suited to online stores. If you have a physical storefront as well as your online store, we can work with you to ensure that the physical experience gels seamlessly with the online experience.

Is my donation as a retailer tax deductible?

Certain donations may be tax deductible. Please seek advice from your accountant or tax professional.

Can we ask customers to match the donation?

Due to popular demand, we are exploring ways to enable matching customer donations at point-of-sale. We will provide further information in due course.

Can we sell alcohol or tobacco?

No. Roundify retailers are not permitted to sell alcohol, tobacco and certain other types of restricted goods.

Is it free to sign up?


Is there an admin fee on donations?

No. 100% of donations pledged at point of sale are paid to the designated charities.

How are donations paid?

Retailers pay donations to Roundify monthly and Roundify distributes 100% of the donations to charities every 90 days.

How do we know that the payments are accurate?

Roundify has appropriate systems in place to ensure that retailers make good on donations they have pledged.
